Oley Kiatoneway, born Prasit Thaikaew on April 13, 1973, is a legendary Muay Thai fighter from Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest technicians of the sport's Golden Era. Nicknamed "The Black Pearl of the Andaman," he was celebrated for his rare fighting style, combining exceptional footwork, defensive movement, precise timing, and sharp counterattacks with powerful punches, elbows, and kicks. His skill and creativity led many to compare him to a blend of Muay Thai icons Samart Payakaroon and Poot Lorlek. Oley captured the Lumpinee Stadium 115 lb title and defeated many of the era's top champions, earning a reputation as one of the most elusive and intelligent fighters in Muay Thai history. Although his brief professional boxing career was less successful, he remains highly respected by fighters, coaches, and fans as one of the sport's most technically gifted athletes.
